Bodhi Stroupe

Bodhi met the Dharma at the age of 18, and has been practicing for the past 14 years. He first took refuge with Kyabje Tri Rizong Rinpoche, the 102nd throne holder of the Gelugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism. Since then he has studied with many great teachers including H.H. the Dalai Lama, Geshe’s, Mahamudra and Dzogchen masters, and many accomplished Lamas and Khenpos in the west. He now studies under Tulku Sang-Ngag Rinpoche, Lama Tsultrim and Drubpon Lama Karma, as well as visiting teachers to Tara Mandala. Bodhi has been a resident at Tara Mandala for the last 4.5 years, working summer retreat season, and engaging in solitary retreat for part of the winter. He is one of the head Chopöns (Activity Master) at Tara Mandala. He is part of the Gateway Program at Tara Mandala – currently in the Tigers cohort, under the guidance of Tulku Sang Ngag Rinpoche and Lama Tsultrim. He is very grateful to be apprenticing in the role of teaching and helping the Dharma flourish in the west.
