Prajña Paramita: The Great Wisdom Mother - A Meditation Retreat
With Dorje Lopön Chandra Easton
May 31 - June 3, 2018
Prajña Paramita is the Great Mother. She is luminous clarity that is full of compassion. She is a deity, a symbol, and a sutra. Above all, she is the teaching that guides us to the experience of prajña, or wisdom, which is the capacity to perceive the ineffable vastness of basic space.
The Prajña Paramita practice from Lama Tsultrim Allione is a nature of mind practice that requires transmission. This transmission will be given by Dorje Lopön Chandra Easton following teachings on Prajña Paramita and a detailed explanation of the practice itself. In addition to learning the Prajña Paramita meditation, aspects of the sacred feminine within the context of the Buddhist path will be explored.
This residential retreat is open to men and women. It includes discussion, guided and silent meditation, and circle time to explore how to bring these age-old wisdom teachings into our daily lives. Beginners and experienced practitioners are welcomed.
